Isometric Views

In isometric view, three-dimensional objects are visually represented in two dimensions in such a way that the three coordinate axes appear equally foreshortened and the angle between any two of them is 120 degrees.

It is a particular type of perspective view wherein the view is isometric (iso=equal; metric=measurement).

Isometric views of objects are made to show as much detail as possible, typically with technical drawings. In the normal perspective, all lines converge in a vanishing point, and detail at the farthest ends can be difficult to see.
