Entities Covered:

  • Menteso, Inc., a corporation registered in the United States with its principal office at 589, S 22nd St. San Jose, CA 95116, USA.
  • Menteso Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 787, Level 4 Front, 21st Street, ZN, New Friends Colony, New Delhi 110025, India.

Together with our affiliates PatentDrawingExperts.com, Lexmom.com, and IPDocketers.com, these entities are collectively referred to as “Menteso,” “we,” “our,” or “us.”

By accessing or using our Website or Services—including making payments through our integrated payment gateways (Stripe for the U.S. and Razorpay for India)—you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

1. Scope of Services

Menteso offers professional and technology-driven solutions, including but not limited to:

  • Intellectual Property Services: Patent drafting, searches, analytics, trademark filings, copyright services, and IP enforcement.
  • Paralegal & LPO Services: Docketing, filing, drafting, litigation support, and legal research.
  • Legal & Business Consultancy: Law firm management, marketing, and strategy consulting.
  • Events & Conferences: Hosting and managing global legal, IP, and business forums, including IIPLA and World Lawyers Forum.
  • Technology Solutions: SaaS platforms such as Lexmom (law firm management), IPDocketers (IP docketing), and related legal-tech products.

Services may be provided on a one-time, recurring, or subscription basis.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
  • By using our Services, you represent that all information provided is accurate and lawful.
  • Certain Services may have additional eligibility criteria based on jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration

  • Some Services require account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

4.1 Payment Gateways

  • India (Menteso Technologies Pvt Ltd): Payments are processed via Razorpay, supporting debit/credit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets.
  • United States & International (Menteso, Inc.): Payments are processed via Stripe, supporting debit/credit cards, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other international methods.

4.2 Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions may be billed periodically (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
  • In India, UPI Autopay mandates via Razorpay may be used for subscription billing.
  • In the U.S. and internationally, recurring billing is processed via Stripe.

4.3 Authorization

  • By providing payment details, you authorize Menteso and its payment partners (Razorpay or Stripe) to process payments in accordance with your chosen plan.

4.4 Security

  • Razorpay and Stripe are PCI DSS compliant and use secure encryption.
  • We do not store sensitive payment data such as card details, CVV, or UPI PIN.

4.5 Refunds & Cancellations

  • Payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in a service-specific agreement (e.g., event cancellation policy, SaaS trial refund).
  • Subscriptions may be canceled before the next billing cycle.
  • Event tickets and registrations may be subject to separate cancellation rules published at the time of booking.

4.6 Payment Failures

  • If a payment fails, we may suspend or terminate access to the Service until dues are cleared.

5. Use of Services

  • Services may only be used for lawful purposes.
  • You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer, or exploit any of our products, platforms, or content.
  • For SaaS platforms (e.g., Lexmom, IPDocketers), unauthorized sharing of credentials is prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content (text, graphics, code, trademarks, event materials, software, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Menteso and affiliates.
  • You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without prior written consent.

7. Events & Conferences

  • Event registrations are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
  • Registrations are non-transferable unless expressly permitted.
  • We reserve the right to alter event schedules, speakers, or venues.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Menteso and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for technical issues, payment gateway downtime, or failures of third-party providers (Razorpay, Stripe, event venues, etc.).
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service in dispute.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Menteso, its affiliates, officers, and employees from claims or damages arising from your use of Services or breach of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

  • Our Services may integrate with third-party platforms (Razorpay, Stripe, Zoom, etc.).
  • By using them, you also agree to their respective Terms and Privacy Policies.

11. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account or Service if you violate these Terms.
  • You may terminate your account with prior notice, provided all dues are cleared.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • India (Razorpay transactions): Governed by the laws of India; disputes subject to courts in New Delhi.
  • United States & International (Stripe transactions): Governed by the laws of California, USA; disputes subject to courts in Santa Clara County, California.

13. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be published on the Website with a new effective date. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance.
